Description: You have learned how to control your chakra better and learn how to focus it in your feet to walk on otherwise impossible-to-walk-on objects. Now you can use that training and apply it. This technique allows you to use your control of chakra to use techniques with less chakra, become faster when using bursts of chakra from your feet, become stronger with chakra focused in your hands, among other things.

[Wysal Acim X]

The three men in white coats finally clawed their way up the hill and made it to the top to see the same large pond as Wysal. Their eyes widened as they spotted the patient, standing next to the edge of the water, preparing to take a step into the liquid.

"Stop right there! It's a dead end, we've got you!"

The doctor approached cautiously, but with haste, extending his arm and snatching hold of the young man.

"I've got you now!"

As the doctor's grip tightened around the young man's shoulder and he yanked him backward, all three men were startled as the man suddenly emitted a large plume of smoke and turned into a heavy log. Unprepared for the heavy weight and unable to stop its incoming momentum, the doctor fell backward into the other two men and the heavy log pushed them all back down the hill

The Kawarimi no Jutsu had worked better than Wysal could have imagined and bought him the necessary time to gather himself and concentrate on his chakra. Though his first step onto the pond's surface had ended up in him being waist deep and soaking wet, he was eventually able to get the hang of it and now found himself standing on the water's surface, smack dab in the middle of the pond.

There was no turning back now and Wysal focusing on his breathing and the chakra in the soles of his feet as he took one uneasy step after another. Soon, he would make it to the other end of the pond and begin his long journey back to the hospital to retrieve his gear.

With each step he took on the water's surface, he tried to maintain a deep level of concentration. However, with every placement of his bare foot on the cool surface of the liquid, he could not help but smile softly, admiring the beauty of the water and the ripples that formed beneath each step.

It was an incredible feeling to be walking on water, like the feeling of falling when your stomach was up in your throat and you strained to breathe. The feeling, though strange and slightly uncomfortable, was surprisingly joyful and with each step, he found himself relaxing more and more, and enjoying himself.

The smile across Wysal's face grew slowly but surely until it was a full on grin and he began to march atop the water's surface, no longer concentrating as hard. This new confidence landed him quickly in the drink and as he came bobbing up for air and spit water out of his mouth, the grin was no longer seen on his face, but rather a dumbfounded look of misplaced arrogance.

Deciding it would be best to retain at least some focus on his newly found skills, he used his chakra once again, focusing it into his legs and down into the soles of his feet until he was able to 'step' up out of the water and back onto the surface. Before long, he had made it across the pond and as he stepped off the liquid and onto the dry land on the far side, he turned and looked back across, admiring the feat he had just accomplished, as well as the beautiful view.

With no white lab coats in sight, Wysal took the chance to disappear over the next hill and surely escape the watchful eyes that had pursued him so long. He could not believe these men had followed him all this way. Even though he had been a patient in the hospital and even though he had managed to get his way out of the restraints and escape the institutions hold, he could still not understand why they would come after him in this manner.

It seemed rather peculiar to say the least, and he decided once he returned to the hospital he would investigate a little more upon retrieving his gear.

Walking through the park for several minutes, Wysal continued to take it all in and enjoyed the happy looks on the faces of the strangers. He had not seen such joy or expressions in such a long time that the look of contentment itself seemed alien and almost, wrong.

Making his way around the outskirts of the park, he finally came circling back to the edge of the tree line, and he peered through the dark, dense foliage, trying to spot the pathway that lead to the hospital. He did not fully have his bearings yet in this strange new world, but he had a vague idea of which direction to go and knew he had better get moving if he wanted any hope of getting his gear back and getting on with his own life.

As he reached the treeline, Wysal paused briefly and took a deep breath. Since he had awoken in the hospital, he had not had any real chance to relax or catch his breath and he figured now was as good a time as any. Taking one more look around to be sure there were no sign of white lab coats running in his direction, he expressed a deep sigh of relief and stepped forward into the shadows of the foliage. As he disappeared into the trees and shrubbery, the warm feeling of the sunshine on his skin faded and the cool breeze no longer graced his hospital gown.

These were both welcome and unwanted things simultaneously, for his thin hospital gown was no longer flapping in the wind and revealing his lower extremities, but alas, his skin was now growing cold, especially since he was still pretty wet from his swimming lessons in the pond.

After the brief break and casual stroll through the trees, Wysal knew it was time to focus once again and he took off quickly, sprinting forward right up the side of a tree. Focusing the chakra into his feet as he had done on the water's surface, he rushed quickly up the trunk and into the thick branches and leaves that capped the mammoth wood creature. As he reached the higher end of the tree, he stalled on a branch for a brief second before lunging forward and landing on the thick branch of an adjacent tree. Continuing to focus his chakra, Wysal couldn't help but feel his body tiring from all the action and he knew he had better get his gear back soon and take some time to rest his bones.

With a sharp inhale through his nostrils he lunged again, and repeated the process, hoping tree to tree and moving swiftly through the canopy of the foliage toward the hospital.

Landing softly on the final tree branch before the foliage broke and the tree line ended, Wysal's gaze fell upon the pathway that lead to the entrance of the hospital. Despite not having been of this strange, green land, he had found his way around, from the public park, back to the hospital and was rather pleased with this. Not simply because he wanted to learn this environment specifically, but more so because he needed to get his gear back as swiftly as possible.

He remained inside the shadows of the canopy, looking down upon the pathway and keeping an eye out for any travelers who may prove to be useful. He also kept an eye out for the three men in white coats who had chased him to the water's edge and fallen victim to his Substitution jutsu. He was not sure if he had beaten them back to the hospital or if they had continued to search for him in the park. Either way, he knew he needed to remain unseen and quiet if he wanted to be successful here and now.

Finally, an idea came to him as he thought about those men who had come after him and he smirked slightly as he descended from the tree, his lips moving to call upon a technique.

"Henge no Jutsu!"

Landing softly on the soil below, Wysal rose in a new disguise, as his transformation jutsu lent itself, allowing him to appear similar to one of the men in the white coats. Now he could pass through the hospital and locate his belongings and do so hopefully with little resistance.

Walking right in through the front doors, Wysal focused his chakra in order to hold the transformation jutsu and maintain the appearance of one of the hospital staff. Though he was unsure of whether the man he was imitating was a male nurse, doctor or simply an extra hand; he had to keep moving with confidence and find his gear, before he was questioned or discovered to be a fraud.

Stepping through the threshold and waving a hand at the female sitting behind the desk, his jaw suddenly dropped as he recognized her from before. She was the girl that had helped him to get away earlier and here she was, working the front desk!

Wysal's cheeks were flushed with a slight pink hue as the girl returned a soft smile, bringing him to this realization and forcing him to turn his eyes away.

Continuing to move down the hallway, he kept his eyes out for any signs that might lead him to where his things were located. However, after passing several rooms he decided it would be a better idea to go back and ask. After all, he knew that the girl at the desk had helped him once, and maybe she would do so again.

"Excuse me miss, but can you remind me where we keep the patient's belongings? Sorry I--"

"You're him aren't you!" interrupted the girl, her face lighting up in excitement.

"I, uh, but--"

"Quick, come with me."

Wysal bowed his head slightly, realizing his disguise had not even been good enough to fool the young woman. Hoping she was leading him in the right direction and with no better leads, he followed her off down the hallway and into a room.

Closing the door behind them, the young woman turned to look at Wysal and she smiled.

"You can let it go now."

"What's that?" questioned Wysal, slightly confused.

"You're transformation jutsu, you can release it, there's no need to hide your appearance any longer. Besides, not like you were fooling anyone with that ridiculous imitation!"

The girl laughed slightly as she poked at Wysal, waiting for him to do as she suggested.

Without further delay, he released the jutsu and as a small puff of smoke dissipated into the air of the room, his true appearance was shown.

"Wow, you ARE cute!" exclaimed the girl as she looked him over.

"The name's Jennifer!" she said as she grabbed hold of Wysal's hand and shook it.

"What's yours?"

Wysal shook his head as he released her hand and looked around the room.

"Can you help me or not?" he asked, his tone rather stern.

"Sure, I-- right over here.." she said, her excitement dwindling as she lead him across the room to a large cabinet.

Opening the door, she riffled through some bags until she came across one that held his gear. She lifted it up and thrust it into is chest with a soft smile.

"That should be everything."

As Wysal took the bag in his hands, he felt an overwhelming sense of relief. He could already feel the weight of his steel-toed boots and see his black garments inside, amongst his plethora of ninja tools. There was however, one thing missing.

"Wariba-Gitae..."

"What's that?" asked Jennifer, her eyes widening.

"My weapon"

"Oh, let me see here... Aha! is this the one?!"

Turning around and presenting the short-katana to Wysal, he nodded and smiled softly, taking the weapon from her and moving to the other side of the room.

As he pulled his things free from the confines of the bag, he lay them out on the table near the wall and made sure everything was there. As he counted all of his ninja tools he noticed one of his lock picks was missing. Shrugging it off, he began to lift his hospital gown when he remembered Jennifer was still in the room.

"Oh, don't mind me, you're not the first boy i've ever seen you know!" teased Jennifer as she stared at him, waiting to get a look at the goods.

Wysal laughed slightly and wasted no more time in being polite, lifting his gown and revealing himself to her watching eyes.

Out of his peripheral vision he could see her blushing cheeks and almost feel the heat coming off her body. Paying little mind to her heavy breathing, Wysal quickly removed the gown and dressed himself in his own, familiar clothing. As he laced up the last boot and inserted the last of his ninja tools into its appropriate compartment in either his cargo pants or jacket, he nodded and cracked his neck.

Placing his hand around Wariba-Gitae he flipped the instrument of death over the backside of his hand, caught it with his reverse grip and snapped his elbow backward, shoving the weapon into its awaiting sheath on his lower back. He then looked over to Jennifer, who was all put a puddle of drool at this point and spoke.

"I thank you for all you've done for me, Jennifer."

"Uh-huh, no problemmmmmm..." moaned the girl, her lust-filled eyes still fixated on him.

With a final glance at her, Wysal pulled the white mask down over his face and moved to the window, sliding it open and disappearing into the outside world. Finally, he was free, clothed and could relax.

As dropped to the soft ground outside, he crouched slightly for a moment and inhaled slowly through his flaring nostrils. With his eyes closed he spent several long moments taking in the world around him; the feel of it, the smell, the temperature and the sounds.

It was more than intense in this new place and Wysal was still having a little trouble adjusting to the new environment. One thing he would definitely need to adapt to, was the rise in temperature. Here, unlike the Mist, it was warm and sunny, meaning his heavy black attire would leave him out of breath and sweaty in no time at all.

Rising from his crouched position to full-standing posture, he quickly sprang forward and darted off into the tree line, disappearing into the shadows once again and feeling an overall sense of comfort within the dark embrace.

Rushing into the deepest of shadows, Wysal darted toward the biggest tree trunk his eyes could spot in the thick wooded area beside the pathway. As he approached it he focused his chakra into the soles of his feet and bent his knees before releasing a powerful surge and springing upward into the air, as he jumped he kicked his legs forward and once again focused his chakra into his feet. This time however, he focused the chakra as a way to hold him to the trunk's surface and as he contacted with it, he stuck like glue. Smirking softly beneath his white mask, Wysal rushed upward into the tree and climbed into the highest of branches, poking his head out of the top of the canopy and looking around.

The view from here was incredible and he spent several minutes, quietly appreciating it. From here he could see a vast stretch of the area he had already explored, with the hospital behind him in the distance, and the large open green field ahead to the right. His eyes narrowed as he looked toward the park, trying to spot the pond he had walked across.

There!

After seconds of searching visually for the water, he spotted the edge of it peaking out from behind a hillside and he exhaled a sigh of contentment. He felt as though he had come so far in such a short amount of time and could not help but feel grateful for this new experience in the Hidden Leaf Village. However he had ended up here, and whatever had happened between his last memory in the Mist and his awakening in the hospital; it would seem maybe it had all been for a reason. He just hoped that whatever he had left in his wake, was not in hot pursuit of him, even now.

Enjoying his time up in the highest reaches of the tall tree, he allowed his body to relax and caught his breath, before ducking back below and vanishing into the shadows once again.

His newly harnessed abilities had allowed him a better understanding of not only Chakra, but how to focus it to better serve his needs. As his feet came to rest atop a large branch near the tree's mid section, he relaxed his entire body for a brief second and leaned backward, allowing himself to begin to fall.

At the last second, he used his Chakra Control to send a surge of chakra rushing to the soles of his feet, which clung to the tree branch and halted his fall. Now, he hung upside down by his feet from the branch and closed his eyes, breathing and concentrating.

Amazing...
