Description: Apparently, there have been reports of multiple bandit raids on a nearby village. You are being sent by the village to investigate reports. You have the choice of finding the location of the bandit hideout and reporting to the village, so that they can send in stronger shinobi to wipe them out, or attempt to take them on yourself. Be warned, some of them might be tough cookies...

[Aiko Uchiha]

Aiko couldn't hear much just muffled voices and a constant ringing in her ears. Her body felt numb for a split second to her this was a bit of an embarrassment. Genin or not Aiko didn't believe anyone should've or could've made a mistake as easy or detramental as this one. Her eyes opened to see rubble everywhere and then darted down to her body, bruises and cuts. At the most part her mind was just happy to know that Rikuo and Hikari were safe and not harmed at all. Her heart dropped though when seeing Zephyr, that was not the case for him mentally and emotionally. Aiko knew he'd blame himself but for some reason that was normal with anyone who had seen someone close to them get hurt. Knowing full well it was her fault for not being more careful it was obvious that the two were going to have to talk about it so they could get past it. Nothing hurt her more than seeing him look as hurt before Aiko could see his eyes again when he opened them hers had shut just to rest and anaylze the situation. Her ears however picked up on this voice that had sounded so cold yet so familiar.

"Keep her safe." Aiko had no doubt about it now, that was him and he sounded so cold along with being full of hatred. It was something Aiko never wanted to her again while she was with him.

Hearing Hikari talking to her Aiko simply nodded before mumbling loud enough for her comrade to hear, "I can hear you...and my back hurts is all...everything else will be okay." She couldn't help but smile a bit, "Clumsy me, how are you and...the boys?" Pushing herself up with all her might a small smirk was planted on her face as she was now sitting up.

[Rikuo Namikaze]

Rikuo made his way down the hallway towards the final room so he noticed that Zephyr had caught up to him but like him he knew what was comeing. It didn't take long for the two ninja to make their down the path and come into an open room. After a quick look around Rikuo noticed that their seemed to be nine people in the room waiting for them.

Rikuo noticed that the boss seemed to be slightly tougher then his grunts as he seemed to hold him self like a ninja would Rikuo had to admit it was odd but he quickly gained control over him self and got ready to fight. The leader stood and laughed "Ha so your telling me that these kids were able to get the drop on my men. He looked at Rikuo and Zeph unimpressed with the two genin before him. Rikuo gave the area a quick look the boss and two of his men were on the platform this meant that Rikuo and Zeph had to fight their way through six hired goons to get to the boss and his bodyguards.

The boss waved his hand and the six Goons moved forward to attack the two Genin but Rikuo was ready for them he Glanced over at Zeph as his plan would need a little of the Uchiha's Fire. "Zeph Fire Now" Rikuo Flew threw the hand signs he needed and Inhaled and as he realsed to Chakra infused air from his lungs shouted the name of the jutsu so Zephyr would know wha the plan was "Fuuton:Daitoppa (Great Breakthrough)" and with that Rikuo sent out the massive blast of wind for Zephyr to hit with the fireball and deal with the goons. Rikuo was pretty sure that once he had shouted the jutsu the Girls would know that the battle had started.

[Hikari Mi]

Hikari looked at Zephyr her eyes seemed to raise a bit, to her surprise the Uchiha had unlocked his Sharigan. Something in him had just changed..Zephyr did not look like the quiet observant friend and teammate she had meet a few weeks back. Zephyr looked beyond upset and even cold. This side of him was intimidating she would have to admit, as he gave her orders to keep Aiko safe the girl nodded and looked down at the wounded girl before hearing the boys footsteps go down into the tunnel. Her gaze then turned to the first aid kit setting the materials out. However, Hikari froze when hearing a familiar voice softly speaking.

"Well I am going to bandage up the wounds, so be still and some might start to hurt a bit okay?" Hikari shook her head when Aiko asked how everyone was going, this girl was a bit banged up yet she still had the selflessness to ask how everyone else was doing and did anyone get her. This was a quality not all people had and Kari was honored to have friend as sweet and selflessness as her. "The boys and I are fine...they went after the men who did this to you. Now this might sting a bit." Her hand had a cloth in it as the ointment started to spread and disinfect her wounds. When Aiko sat up a smile was on Hikari's face, Aiko had spunk and was stubborn no doubt about that. The least she could do as a teammate was get her back into the action. The next thing she did was wrap her arms in a couple of places with bandages and legs before moving onto her back. She lifted her shirt up to see a decent sized bruise before lathering it with more medicine and wrapping her up before pulling her shirt back down. Her hand carefully and slowly went around Aiko's waist and the other held her wrist of Kari's shoulder before helping her up and walking towards the tunnel. "I know you don't want to sit here and not fight, you'll force me to take you...so I guess we'll just go willingly."

[Zephyr Uchiha]

Zephyr entered the room, and immediately scanned the area for enemy, tactical advantages, and the terrain. His eyes immediately saw the distance between him and what appeared to be the "boss" of the gang, and the numerous soldiers between them. This didn't bother him in his current state - in fact, it excited him. He grinned and ran forward, slightly behind Rikuo. He barely heard the word "fire" above the roar of the blood rushing in his ears. He formed handseals at speeds he would normally not even imagine of and blasted a torrent of fire upon the wind, igniting it into a giant, raging mass of hell.

It's effect was tremendous. It was like a bomb was set to explode. The bandits sent to kill them were tossed backwards, scorched, and knocked out from slamming against a wall or pillar. Zephyr kept running forward, not even missing a beat. His glowering red eyes were focused on the last three. They looked tougher, but nothing was going to stop him and his vengeance for Aiko. He didn't know of her fate, though subconsciously he knew that she had to be alright because the explosion wasn't too big.

He removed a handful of shuriken from his pouch, and slung them forward at the opponents, them spiraling around to form a ring enclosing them in. They would have to jump upward to escape them or deflect them somehow. Zephyr then formed several more handseals and blasted another torrent of fire into the sky, aimed right for the trio. He didn't think the boss would fall for it, but he hoped to at least eliminate the bodyguards. Him and Rikuo could easily take on anyone that wasn't Jounin level, he thought.

[Aiko Uchiha]

Aiko smiled a bit but then winced when Hikari was putting on the ointment it stung to no end but balling up her fists seemed to help alot more than what was expected. After getting bandaged Aiko pulled away from Hikari once they both were standing. Her Uchiha pride had set in and determination made her want to do this on her own. Her legs wobbled a bit before taking a step then another. Before Aiko knew it she began walking beside Kari but had her hand on the wall of the tunnel for balance. They had to get to the boys and help them in anyway she could. Especially Zephyr, Aiko had to show that him that she was fine and nothing serious was wrong with her.

"Hikari stay on the offensive until we get to the boys"

[Rikuo Namikaze]

Rikuo watched as his and Zephyr combination attack took out the small fry and he saw Zeph switch his attack towards the Bandit and his leader and saw them leap into the air. Rikuo noticed that the leader began to flash through hand seals before he spoke. " Suiton:Suigadan (Water Fang)" As the Bandit said the Jutsu's name to a drill was formed from the air around him and struck Zeph's fire ball before it struck him and his two body gaurds. When they landed on the ground his two gaurds charged towards the two ninjas.

Rikuo quickly drew hiw two dueling Kunai and began to channle chakra into them so they had a slight blue glow from the wind being wraped around them as he charged. Rikuo made sure to watch the bandits one had a pair of Sai's while the other had a Katana and both looked like they knew how to use their weapons. Rikuo allowed his gaze to shift to the leader who seemed to be willing to watch how his mean fought against the two ninja. The one with the Sword made his way towards Zephyr while the other went to face Rikuo.

[Hikari Mi]

Hikari let Aiko go taking a step away from her this was typical for a uchiha she supposed. Their pride sometimes go in their way but it surprised her that even Aiko, who was as sweet and caring as can be, would have this trait passed down to her from her family and clanmembers. That trait just had heriditary written all over it. With a grin Kari simply nodded before her crystal armor was placed back onto her body and she began walking beside Aiko, close though to make sure that girl was fine.

As words and noises echoed through the tunnel Kari looked over at Aiko with a concerned look, "The boys still must be fighting the leader and his goons. We aren't far from being there. Lets pick up the pace, I know you can do it Aiko. Make Zephyr and your parents proud. Get over the pain and speed up a bit.

While getting closer Hikari was able to hear footsteps and more battle noises coming from the end of the hall which they were getting very close to.

[Zephyr Uchiha]

Zephyr watched in amazement as the boss formed handseals and performed a powerful water jutsu that canceled out his fireball. He jumped back a dozen yards to give him space between his opponents. The boss just stood there, and motioned his bodyguards to go forward and be his champions in fighting the two Genin. Zephyr's red eyes showed only anger and determination, not fear or weakness. He watched as his new opponent advanced upon him with a katana in his hand. He immediately drew two kunai from a pouch and put one in each hand, like daggers.

"Come on then!" he yelled in a raucous, taunting voice. This was completely unlike Zephyr. He was normally a quiet kid who took fighting seriously. This new change was completely taking over him. His eyebrows furrowed even more, and a wicked grin of evil appeared on his face. Zephyr blasted off forwards, straight for his opponent, his kunai in hand.

His opponent swung an overhead chop as Zephyr neared. His Sharingan saw everything, especially such a basic move. His feet stopped just inches from where the blade descended to. Zephyr then hopped on the blade and then swung out with his foot at his opponent, slammed his foot in an uppercut to the bandit's chin, knocking his grip from the sword and leaving him dazed. Zephyr, still balancing on the sword, then threw his kunai at a near-point blank range, delivering what could potentially be fatal strikes to the stomach and chest area on the bandit.

He then jumped forward, allowing the blade to finally fall. It was impressive that he could have done all of that before the sword's handle even touched the ground. It was even more impressive that he was unfazed by it. His mind was completely now focused on his final opponent. Unfortunately, he was finally starting to feel the strain of his Sharingan usage. It felt like his eyes were going to explode. Zephyr kicked up the katana from the ground and caught it with his hands. He couldn't stop now - not until the last one had paid...

[Aiko Uchiha]

Aiko was so determind that Hikari's words weren't even being processing in her mind. This was a little bit much for her. She was hearing a voice that sounded so familiar yet so could as he continued to fight with the leader. Her foot stepped quicker as the other followed and Aiko was soon breaking out into a run disregarding her pain. At the end of the tunnel Aiko saw Zephyr with his back turned Rikuo as well and the man was facing them. Breathing hard Aiko looked at Hikari who had just caught up.

"Hikari..lets wrap this up okay? Do it now." Aiko smiled a little before holding her arm as it throbbed a bit in pain.

(Sorry I didn't write much..kind distracted.)

[Rikuo Namikaze]

Rikuo charged the Bodyguard with the Sai's and quickly allowed his Kunai to block the oncomeing strikes from the weapon with blinding speed and the two colided in a flurry of clashing steel and sparks form their weapons coliding. It didn't take Rikuo long before he figured out a way to get out of his stalemate with the duel weilding warrior it didn't take long before Rikuo made a half tiger seal and made an acadamy Bunshin and used that to slip around the man when he aimed for the clone rather then Rikuo himself. When the man aimed for theclone his blow passed through it this gave Rikuo the time to brimg his Kunai around and stab the man in his neck killing him instantly.

Rikuo looked over as Zephy killed the bodyguard he had been faceing and like him Rikuo also turned to face the leader who had begun to clap at the two genin. "Nicely done boys Very nice indeed but let's see how you deal with this. With that the leader lowered him self into an attack stance and began flashing through hand seals "Suiton:Suigadan (Water Fang) as the man called out the Jutsu six water drill formed around him and he sent three at both of the genin he wanted to see how stronger they were as they had gotten this far he felt he owed it to them.

[Hikari Mi]

Hikari looked at Aiko as the girl started sprinting down the hall. Without even thinking much about it Kari knew that she was over exerting herself but what could she do? Aiko was stubborn and wasn't going to be a pushover. For some reason that girl wanted to feel just as important as Hikari and for that Kari respected her for it. Then hearing Aiko's orders Kari nodded a bit smiling, this man wasn't going to be able to get out of this at all.

Kari concentrated and planted her hand on the ground closing her eyes and seeing everything pitch black. The thin crystal line however was something that she could see as it ran its way to her target the leader. It seemed to stop and split going in two different directions forming a circle and then quickly rising as she flowed more chakra into her technique. "Crystal Release Crimson Fruit!" Kari grinned happily because the man was so involved with the boys he hadn't seen that coming. Plus his element was water, it couldn't do anything to the crystal at all.

[Zephyr Uchiha]

Zephyr's eyes opened wide as he saw the vortexs of water speed towards him. His hands quickly flashed several handseals before he blasted yet another torrent of fire at them. The water doused the fire, the heat creating steam. He jumped back a half-dozen yards to get out of the way of the now-weakened vortexs, them harmlessly splashing down onto the ground. Zephyr grinned, and then behind his back, strung wire around two shuriken. He tossed them forward, spinning directly towards the bandit leader. If the leader didn't notice, the wire would either close-line him or stop the shuriken from going straight, and instead spin around the leader, shortening the wire, until they had no length of the wire left and stabbed into him.

Zephyr's eyes immediately felt like they were on fire. This was the cost of the overuse of the Sharingan. He felt woozy and weak. His eyes immediately changed back to the pitch black colour of the Uchiha. He fell to one knee, and clutched his eyes with his hands in pain. No, he couldn't stop. Not now. Not when he was this close...

[Aiko Uchiha]

The noises that were being heard along with the show that was being displayed hurt Aiko's ears since they were still delicate from the noise of the explosion earlier. Hikari seemed to be using the leaders total concentration on the boys as an advantage though when looking to her left and seeing Zephyr move with sudden speed and precision it baffled her a bit. Then the thought had finally set in as her mind flashed back to what she thought she had seen when opening her eyes a few minutes after the explosion. His eyes were red, blood red. He had activated the sharigan because of her foolish mistake..that was something Aiko was having trouble excepting.

When Zephyr did kneel down she rushed over to him and took his hands away from his eyes, "Zephyr, I am fine. You'll be okay too that is just you eyes getting use to such a significant change. Now open them." Aiko replied in a calm and soothing voice before looking over at Rikuo and Hikari. Her thoughts were praying that Hikari's jutsu had caught the man but if not Zephyr or Aiko would've finished him off.

[Rikuo Namikaze]

Rikuo watched as the three vortex's came towards him and moved towards the gap that was between the three of them. Using his speed and agilty he could easily make it thourgh and if they kept at a range then this guy would just keep raining jutsu down on them litraly and Rikuo didn't like the idea of that. Rikuo moved quikly using the speed that his training and gifted him with as he made his leap towards the gap he noticed that Zephyr managed to take out the three that were aimed at him and that Hikari and Aiko had caught up to them and that Aiko seemed to be tending to him trying to calm him down. Rikuo reached the gap ready to keep up the fight.

The Bandit leader saw the the first boy stop his attack with a fire ball and he noticed the Shurikan comeing towards him and Reached beside his chair for the blade that was resting against it. He noticed the blonde one was moving so he could leap through the Jutsu and couldn't help but smile as he rasied his free hand and made a Single half tiger seal woth it."Got Ya boy" Once he made the handseal the water drill changed course and closed the Gap strikeing Rikuo from all three sides. With the force of the water coliding Rikuo was blocked from site to the Leader and his teammates as the man used his sword to knock the Shurikan away from him."HA one down three to go" The man smiled till he noticed he couldn't move he glanced down as far as his head would let him and saw that he was surronded by Crystal and he Laughed.

He kept laughing till he Felt the cold steel of a Kunai aginst his neck and heard the sound of water dripping behind him. He glanced behind him and noticed a very wet Rikuo with a few cuts from the force of the Jutsu. He looked at were Rikuo had been hit and noticed the rubble of one of the Rocks around the area lying their.

Rikuo panted slightly as it had taken a little out of him to use both the Kawarimi and the Shunshin that close together but he had been caught slightly off guard by the Jutsu's sudden change of course and had payed for it. Rikuo kept his glare as the man laughed before he spoke to them. "Not bad kiddes I can't wait to see what happens the next time we meet untill then." Rikuo was caught off guard at that and Went to strike when the man turned to water and vanished it took Rikuo only a second to put it together the leader hadn't been here it had been a water clone they had been fighting.

Rikuo glared at were the man had been before he looked around and made his way over to his teammates to regroup with them. "Every one alright"?

Hikari looked at Aiko run past her to help Zephyr, when it came to him that girl seemed to gather strength from unknown places to make sure was alright. A smile crossed her face however, the leader was trapped in her jutsu..well partially. It must've ment that being worried about her teammates obviously effected the outcome. Otherwise what would've happening next wouldnt of happened. Rikuo had gotten hit, even though serious damage wasn't dealt Kari's heart dropped.

As the leader laughed a disappeared a piece of paper had fallen to the ground, picking it up Kari decided to read it later while walking towards Rikuo who was soaked. Her lips touched his lightly before pulling away and getting a kit out before bandaging his cuts. A smile formed on her face yet it was full of disappointment for not catching this guy. He needed to be dealt with personally. "Yeah, we'll get him next time." Her head then turned over to Aiko and Zephyr to see if they were alright.

[Zephyr Uchiha]

Zephyr was blind and deaf to the world. The pain was throbbing in his head, in his eyes, and all around his body. He'd used too much chakra with the Sharingan and his multiple Fireballs combined. What got him into such a mess? His normal personality was slowing returning, the anger subsiding and being replaced by confusion and sorrow. The scene was a blur to him - he knew what he did, but not why or much of the specifics.

All of a sudden, his hands were ripped away from his eyes by an unknown person. The hands were soft and feminine, and were familiar... Hands he'd held many a time. Aiko spoke to him softly, encouraging him to open his eyes again... Trying to convince him he wasn't as weak as he felt he was at that moment. Slowly, Zephyr's slammed-shut eyes slowly opened up upon his mental command. He looked straight into Aiko's eyes, and smiled weakly.

"You're... Alright," he said as a statement, but it was meant as a question. He was in disbelief that she was standing, and even being in the situation Zephyr would have been for her if he had not gone ballistic. Zephyr let out a sigh of relief, and slowly moved to stand, but slumped back down when he felt that he could not. He laughed a little. He felt kind of embarrassed.

[Aiko Uchiha]

Aiko kept a calm soft face along with her signature smile as his eyes began to open. Zephyr was alright after all, after seeing his emotions run high like that, especially his anger, Aiko never wanted to be the reason he went nearly crazy again. Zephyr's enraged side intimidated her a bit and she had a feeling that she herself wasn't the only one who was thinking that out of the rest of the team.

[color-violet]"I am I trooper sir, you should've known that I'd be fine..lets not pu--"[/color] Before Aiko could even finish the sentence Zephyr attempted to stand only to fall to his knees again. A giggle could be heard from her it wasn't a crime to laugh his stubborness what something that seemed to make her happy inside because he was such a determind guy for his age. Her hand pulled away from one of his as it soft touched the side of his face as the soft smile was still gracing itself on her face. Aiko's lips pressed against his for a few moments before pulling away slowly. Something inside made her feel as if the little rush he got from kissing her would give him enough of a jolt to stand up and if not well...she would be there to hold him steady like they promised to eachother back at his training ground.

"We're okay over here guys!"

[Rikuo Namikaze]

Rikuo smiled as he made his way over to Hikari after the boss had dismissied his clone Rikuo couldn't help but feel a little let down about that and judgeing by the disappointment located in her smile. Rikuo didn't like that and sat on a nearby rock to make it easier for her to help with the cuts the jutsu had caused he was happy that every one was alright and he couldn't help but grin after Kari had given him a light kiss.

He smiled to her and remembered how she had trapped the leader in the Cyrstal before and couldn't help but be impressed."That was a really cool Jutsu you used to hold the Leader Kari-chan and don't you worry about me i'm tough." Rikuo said this with a smile and gave his chest a slight bump with his fist only to winch at it. He smiled as he glanced over to Aiko "I would recomend we wait here for a bit and Rest Aiko-san before we move out.

[Hikari Mi]

Hikari couldn't help but blush at his compliment, "Oh that? Well its my Kekkei Genkai Shoton. Its a long story behind that. She bursted out into laughter as he his chest only to wince a bit, "Looks like your too tough for your own good."

Kari put her index finger on his lips as he began talking again and simply shook her head giving him the look which ment that Aiko knew full well they needed to rest. "She knows, give the love birds the time."

[Zephyr Uchiha]

Zephyr looked at Aiko directly in the eyes as she relinquished her hold on his hands. Instead, she placed her hands on his face, and kissed him lightly on the cheeks. His cheeks turned a beet red, and a sudden sense of vigor spread through his body. When she moved back, Zephyr quickly stood up, although he still leaned on Aiko a bit to support him. His funny bone was tweaked by Hikari's comment about love birds.

"Love birds, eh? Hypocrite.." he muttered, and then chuckled. Zephyr wrapped his arm around Aiko for more support, but also to get closer to her.

"Well, don't let me slow you guys down."

[Aiko Uchiha]

Aiko stood after the kiss and feeling his cheek have a tingle feeling. When he stood up another giggle could be heard but then her cheeks started burning intensely as he wrapped his arm tighter around her. When hearing Hikari's comment Aiko grinned widely,

"I know you guys aren't talking..come on Zephyr isn't gonna let us sit here, he is too impatient."

Aiko winked up at her boyfriend before starting to help him walk out the tunnel. Her arms were sore legs as well but pushing through the pain was a must to help Zephyr who had did a significant amount of damage back there.

"Sorry for worrying you. Was all she said while looking up at him with a frown, feeling truely bad about what happened.

[Rikuo Namikaze]

Rikuo stoped talking when Kari placed her finger on his lips so that he stoped talking he nodded and gave her finger a slight kiss as he looked at her. He smiled as she told him about her Kekkei Genkai he had read about it in the library and he smiled he was the only non Kekkei Genkai user in this squad he didn't no if he should be worried or pleased that he was skill enough to hang with them for a mission Rikuo gave Kari a quick kiss on the lips as a thank you for patching him up. Rikuo stood up and took Kari's hand in his and made to follow Aiko and Zephyr out of the cave.

Rikuo smiled as he walked beside Kari and gave the area a quick look around before he smiled to Kari."Well not bad for are first mission.?"

[Hikari Mi]

Kari smiled at him once she felt his lips give her finger a light kiss. The smile only grew when he kissed her lips as a thank you and held his hand tight as they began walking out the cave. Looking over at Zephyr she couldn't help but tease her teammate about him and his girlfriend, for some reason the result of that was in her own enjoyment.

"Aww look at Zephyr blushing at her kisses, so cute!" When hearing Rikuo mention the mission Hikari shrugged while swaying their hands that were together back and forth, "We did good, he left a piece of paper indicating the next hideout there were gonna move to, we just gotta turn it into the hokage and we are perfectly okay. Then the flashback of Aiko came to mind thinking of her hands burning blue earlier in the match, "Aiko, whats up with the blue fire?"

[Zephyr Uchiha]

Zephyr gritted his teeth, struggling to hobble to keep up with Aiko. He wouldn't be a burden on her. His lips curled up when she mentioned him worrying about her. He spoke in a sort of quiet whisper to her, to prevent prying ears, mainly Hikari and Rikuo, from hearing.

"Back then... I don't know what came over me. I saw you hurt, and then I saw red. The rest was a blur, but I know what I did.. Kind of. I don't want to ever see you hurt. I'll protect you with my life if need be, because I love you. I need to master the Sharingan now, so next time, I'll be in control."

Her pace slowed down when noticing that Zephyr was struggling to keep up with her original spood of choice. As he started to speak Aiko listend taking everything he said with intense consideration. Giving his life for her was not something Aiko wanted him to do, when he mentioned mastering the Sharigan her face was a bit slanted. Of course she was proud of him for finally activating it but an intense feeling of everyone leaving her behind was crashing down on her shoulders. Hikari had mastered two techniques, Rikuo several and Zephyr as well including activating his Sharigan...what had Aiko accomplished? Her mind was made up something was going to change.

"I love you too Zephyr, but there won't be a next time something like that happens..I want to protect myself..I don't ever want to see you like that again."
